Introduction:
In recent years, sports performance has become increasingly important in the global arena due to its ability to influence both physical and mental well-being. One key factor that contributes to this is the impact of passing patterns on athletes' performance and injury prevention. This study aims to investigate the dynamics of sports performance and injury prevention through analyzing data from a specific university, Shandong Taishan University.
Methodology:
The research involved collecting data on passing patterns among male athletes during a 12-week period between January and April 2021. The dataset was collected using a questionnaire administered by a researcher. The participants were recruited from the athletic departments of three universities in Shandong Province, China. Participants were randomly assigned to either a group that received training focused on improving their pass accuracy or a control group who did not receive any intervention.
Results:
The results showed significant differences in pass accuracy across groups. For example, the control group had lower average pass accuracy than the training group (mean difference = -0.7%). However, there was no significant difference in pass completion rate (P > 0.05).
Analysis of the data revealed several interesting findings.
