AC Milan has confirmed that Christian Pulisic will be leaving the club at the end of his contract, which is set to expire in June 2021.

The American forward joined the Rossoneri in January 2019 and made a strong impression during his time with the club, scoring four goals and providing three assists in 27 appearances for the Serie A side.

However, after initially expressing interest in staying on at San Siro, Pulisic decided to move on in order to secure regular first-team football and further his career elsewhere.

The 22-year-old has previously been linked with moves to Chelsea and Manchester United, but he has now announced that he will not be joining either club this summer.

In a statement released by AC Milan,Match Point Link the club thanked Pulisic for his contributions during his time at the club and wished him all the best in his future endeavours.

"Christian Pulisic is a player who has made a great contribution to our team," said AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi. "We wish him every success in the future."

Pulisic's departure from AC Milan is a significant blow for the club, as they had high hopes for the American forward during their time together.

Despite his lack of consistent game-time at the club, Pulisic still managed to make an impact during his short stint at San Siro, and it remains to be seen whether he will find a new club that can provide him with the opportunities he seeks.

It will be interesting to see what happens next for Pulisic, and how he will continue his footballing career moving forward.
